Wildlife Gardening in November…
- Clean out nesting boxes as birds will use them for shelter over winter
- Continue to top up bird feeders
- Leave seed heads on plants for food
- Try to not cut back mature ivy as this will provide both nectar for pollinating insects and shelter for wildlife
- Create a wildlife corner by using leaves, logs, twigs and rocks to provide shelter for insects and animals
- Stop feeding fish once the cold weather sets in
